Entrevista com presidiário [5] - The Guardian

The British newspaper The Guardian published the article "Brazil governed by 'lunatics' and US 'lackeys', says ex-president Lula", with a report that the "PT" party people spoke to journalists from the newspapers "Folha de São Paulo" and "El País". Consequently, I spoke about the topic in the message transcribed below.

Dear Sir or Madam,

The interview mentioned in the article Brazil governed by ‘lunatics’ and US ‘lackeys’, says ex-president Lula” (The Guardian, April 27th) showed that the former Brazilian president — now convicted due to corruption and other crimes — never got consciousness of the recent transformation of politics in his country.
The governments of Mr Lula’s party (PT, the Workers Party) were characterized by corruption; participation of family members in illegal activities; and use of public financial resources in dictatorial countries, which could be used to save the life of children and old people in Brazil — among several others criminal actions.
The current government led by president Bolsonaro promised and is keeping the promises of fighting the corruption; of using his team (and his own family members) in projects to benefit citizens, including those with physical limitations; and of using of the public budget, in a rigorous manner, to reduce the unemployment, to improve the conditions of health, education and home, and to develop the infrastructure background of the country.
The convicted Mr Lula never see, interpret and understand the differences between the former governments of his party and the present government.
There is no solution! Being arrested does not reach the goal of the condemnation, which is the recovery of Mr. Lula and the abandonment of criminal practice by him.
As a matter of fact, in a democratic state, a convicted never could have the freedom to be interviewed by media and criticize the system that convicted him, in a very fair judicial procedure — that could be performed by his lawyer and friend accomplices.
Similarly and in a reasonable and logical manner, the freedom should end when the criminal vocation prevails and the practice of crime begins. It's a judicial problem. So it’s time to get the Brazilian judicial system better. Thanks to the new government, it will be improved.
Best regards,
ARS
